About Me
I work part-time and have a very flexible schedule that allows me to come and go as I please. Like to workout around 4-6 times a week. People consider me to be easy going , energetic and fun to be with. Enjoy making new friends and workout with all different fitness levels (beginner , intermediate and advanced). I swim 50+ laps of freestyle/backstroke and like using fins and hand paddles to increase the intensity of my workout. Like to lift weights about 3 times a week and walk whenever possible at trails , parks or just around the neighborhood. Just tried kayaking for the first time this year (2009) and absolutely love it. Can't wait to go more and it would be nice to have company. My favorite activity right now is biking on trails. I have rode up to 70 miles in one day and usually average 100-200 miles per week. I ride 1/2 on pave trail and the other 1/2 road. Usually ride on the Farmington Valley Greenway Trail. The trail goes through Farmington , Avon , Simsbury , Grandby , East Grandby , Suffield and Granville , MA. I will sometimes ride on the Airline Trail or Cheshire Trail but mainly stick to the Farmington one. Also enjoy taking spinning classes at my gym.
Who I'd Like To Meet
My ideal workout buddy would like to swim , walk , bike and lift weights as much as I do and who is in this for the long haul. I would like to find someone to consistently lift weights with at the gym and give me that extra push I need. I just prefer to lift with someone than on my own (plus it helps to have someone spot when needed). All Friends Welcome. I AM MARRIED AND LOOKING FOR AN ACTIVITY PARTNER ONLY - NOTHING ELSE. I enjoy learning new things. There are many activities I haven't even tried yet and would like to try snowshoeing and cross country ski.
